What is BitBadge?

The BitBadge system works in tandem with live event Perk Events, providing a seamless way to manage access to in-person events for both users and administrators.

For Users

  1. Redeem the Perk: Claim the live event perk from your account.
  2. Go to the Event: Attend the in-person event associated with the perk.
  3. Show Your BitBadge:
    • Access your BitBadge via Profile Page -> BitBadge.
    • Present the BitBadge QR code to the event staff.
    • Optionally, download the QR code for offline access.

For Admins

  1. Install the Mobile App:

    • Download the iOS or Android app.
    • Contact Bitflips Support for installation assistance.
  2. Prepare for the Event:

    • Before the event starts, link the current event to the mobile app from the Perk Event management page.
    • This ensures that during a busy event, the app is set to scan the correct event, reducing errors from selecting similarly named events.
  3. Scan User Codes:

    • Use the mobile app to scan users' BitBadge QR codes.
    • The app will display a message confirming whether the code grants access to the event.

The BitBadge system simplifies event entry, ensuring a smooth experience for users and accurate management for administrators.
