The Create Contract tool provides flexibility for different collection types, allowing you to tailor your NFT contract to suit your project's needs.

Collection types

• Generative Collections: Use the Collection Builder to define traits and assets before proceeding with the contract.
• Predefined Collections: Navigate to the Tokens tab to create tokens individually after setting up the contract.

Steps to Create a Contract

1. Choose Collection Type

• Generative Collection: Tokens are randomly generated by stacking traits. This requires using our Collection Builder to create traits and assets.
• Predefined Collection: Tokens are created individually using the Create Token feature in the Tokens tab.

2. Provide Contract Details

• Display Name: The name displayed for your contract.
• Contract Symbol: The symbol associated with your contract.
• Network: Select the blockchain network (currently supporting Ethereum and Polygon).

3. Collection-Specific Details

Generative Collection

• Token Count: Specify the total number of tokens in the collection.
• Token Name: Provide a name that will serve as a prefix for the collection. For example, if the name is My Collection, the first minted token will be named My Collection 1.

Predefined Collection

• Contract Type: Choose the type of contract:
  • ERC-721: Standard for unique, single-edition tokens.
  • ERC-1155: Standard for multi-edition or semi-fungible tokens.

4. Complete Setup

• Once you've filled out the required fields, proceed through the wizard to finalize your contract creation.
